Free Games
I used to design hobby games for a living. Nowadays, I work in education instead. But the game-design bug never dies. So here are some free things created just for the love it. (Click a title for the rules.)
Clashing Blades!
Two-player fencing game, using a poker deck. I’m particularly proud of this one.
MonsterCon!
Two- to four-player game of old-school monsters at a sci-fi convention, trying to get the girl. Uses a poker deck.
Invasion of the Saucer People!
Cooperative two- to four-player, pulp-era sci-fi game of defense against alien invaders. Uses a poker deck.
Wolf-Man’s Curse
Avoid the mob of angry villagers and the agents of Scotland Yard. Try not to kill anyone. See if you can get rich meanwhile. For three to eight players. Uses a poker deck.
Demon Bound!
Two- to four-player game of demon summoning for fun and profit. Uses a poker deck.
Powerhouses of Wrestling!
Two-player dice-rolling game simulating pro wrestling. Uses five standard (i.e. six-sided) dice, a pencil, and paper.
More to Come
Watch the Giveaways category of this blog for announcements of future games. Or just check back here from time to time.
And please, post a comment to let me know what you think about any particular design. Thanks!
