Dear friends,
Over the course of the past year, I’ve published a book of Cthulhu poetry and fiction, a friend’s Cold War novel, and two other poet’s collections; published two card games of my own; designed four more decks; revised a dice game; managed three successful Kickstarter projects; mastered a fair amount of Japanese; learned a bit of Korean; and supported my spouse through several surgeries—all while working a day job to keep the bills paid and the family insured. My to-do list is literally four to-do lists, just to keep projects straight.
So if I sometimes seem confused over little things, like remembering where the bathroom is located in a convention hall I visit maybe once a year, it’s not senility—it’s priorities.
Sincerely,
—Les
