
Yesterday I turned 60 years old. Here’s the after-action review, as a list, with rough ratings for highs (+) and lows (-):
- Was waked early by Mrs. Smith, who demonstrated that being 60 don’t mean dead. +600
- Wrote an enjoyably museful blog post. +50
- Grandson Cristian took my morning horse chores. +100
- I took a morning nap. +50
- Kate gave me an awesome Spider-Man blanket. +250
- Played with my granddaughter Ana. +100
- Two-hundred-odd people filled my FB timeline with birthday messages. (Or perhaps I should say “two-hundred odd people.”) +210
- About a dozen had nicely snarky photos or slogans. +60
- My Belgian daughter caught me by chat. +200
- My dad called twice. +200

- Drove the Jeep & trailer to Dwight with recyclables. +50

- Drove to Lincoln to meet my son-in-law, Chris, at a tobacconist. +100
