The Logic of Socialism

The logic of Socialism seems pretty simple:

  1. Wealth is an imaginary tool for the convenience of a civilization.

Take away the civilization, and wealth ceases to exist. Gold, diamonds, bonds, bitcoin, NFTs, even picket fences mean nothing unless citizens agree to them.

  2. No citizen should starve so another can tack more zeroes to the tail of their imaginary bank balance.

Even if I supported limited markets, I believe in people getting money for their work. Never based on what they own. No interest, no stocks, no investments.

None of this, “I have many shares in the company, so I can spend my days lounging at a beach house collecting more money than employees get.” Simply work for pay.
