In case it’s not obvious, I’m posting this as dark sarcasm.
I’ve mentioned before on this site that the Smith clan has a long history of military service. Which is supposed to be about defense of the US against external forces. For us, to see this sort of militarization of domestic police, and to hear our President’s threats of using the military itself against civilian protesters is infuriating.
The only question remaining to me is how far down the fascist path are we already? Is there still time to halt this descent, or will we just have to see it through all the way to dictatorship and revolution?
